Specialty Training Focused on the Intersection of Psychiatry and the Law

Our ACGME-accredited, one-year fellowship in forensic psychiatry provides psychiatrists with advanced training to understand and navigate the complex interface of mental health and the legal system. We train clinicians to effectively treat people with mental health issues who are in prison, secure hospitals, or the community, and who may be a risk to the public.

We are now accepting applications for two fellowship positions starting July 1, 2025.
