Interests & Hobbies

Baseball (over halfway through our mission to see a game at all 30 MLB stadiums!) and AYCE sushi with my partner Ryan, trips back home to visit my family and my best friends, long walks on the beach, watching Rom-Coms, and sudoku/word search puzzles.

Why Utah?

University of Utah's Triple Board program was my #1 program when applying to residency, by a long-shot! The mountains are absolutely stunning, and we are just a short drive away from some of the most beautiful sights in the United States, which I think lends itself really well towards Utah's work-hard, play-hard mentality and the overall physical/mental/emotional wellness that is a staple here. My family and my partner's family live in Southern California, so the fact that we can fly/drive home every couple of months to see them is huge for us. Finally (and arguably most importantly), the University of Utah has and attracts some of the most genuine, most supportive, and kindest people that you could imagine - something that is indescribably important in a time as difficult as residency, where you need all the support that you can get!
