Why Utah?
While I loved a lot of programs, when I interviewed with Utah I felt that the residents and attendings reminded me of myself. Specifically, everyone was really high-energy, straightforward, and passionate about addressing barriers to health and healthcare. The residents seemed enlivened by the challenges of residency and were close friends with one another, which is also something I was looking for.
