Why Utah?
When I was looking for residencies, I wanted a training program that would prepare me to be a great pediatrician and child psychiatrist. I also wanted to take care of patients with diverse backgrounds and a wide range of pathologies. Utah fit this bill and had the added benefit of beautiful mountains. During my short time here, I have fallen in love with Utah's beauty, which I especially admire while trail running on Pipeline and hiking up to Lake Blanche. But my favorite thing about Utah is the people. The senior residents are helpful and welcoming, and my co-interns have already become good friends (gotta love wine-book clubs!). I'm so glad to be a part of the Utah family.
