Jaime is the Director of Education for the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Utah, overseeing the strategic, operational, and financial management of graduate medical education programs including General Psychiatry, Triple Board, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, Addiction Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry. She leads an education team supporting numerous trainees and contributes to curriculum planning, staff development, and institutional collaboration. Nationally recognized for her leadership, Jaime has held roles with the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training (AADPRT), the Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD), and the Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME), and is a long-standing Certified Training Administrator for GME (C-TAGME). Her work has been published in Academic Pediatrics and Pediatrics, and she received the APPD Carol Berkowitz Award for Lifetime Advocacy in Pediatric Medical Education. Jaime holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Western Governors University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and cats, traveling, and live music.
